Susan Shapiro launched On Point Coaching in 2006
after 25 years of corporate and non-profit leadership.
She draws upon 18 years of experience with Hewlett-Packard
during which she led a team of 60 people tasked
with a combined channel and leveraged sales quota
of $300 million. Her specialty
is leadership development, especially working
with high potential managers and the “people” side
of mergers and acquisitions. She is also a
sought after speaker on leadership development.
Shapiro has a Graduate Certificate in Executive
and
Professional
Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas
and is an Associate Certified Coach with the
International Coach Federation and a member
of the Metroplex Technology Business Council. Shapiro
received a BS from Hofstra in marketing and
economics.

Jim
Cooper specializes in leading teams through significant
and lasting change in their go-to-market strategy
and specializes in sales operations, leadership
and management. Cooper’s coaching approach
draws upon more than 20 years with Hewlett-Packard
in a variety of sales and business leadership
position. He served as worldwide sales executive
for a software and services business unit of
HP and was chosen to lead post-merger integration
activities for HP’s acquisition of an enterprise
software company. Cooper is pursuing graduate
certification in coaching through the University
of Texas at Dallas and holds an MS in engineering
management and information systems, as well as
an MAT in science education and BS in electrical
engineering.

Ron
Elliott, a psychologist with more than 30 years
experience in executive coaching, career management,
and change management consulting specializes
in assessments. He has worked with multinational
corporations from the consumer products, finance,
communications, high-tech, transportation, energy
and strategic consulting business sectors. Elliott’s
coaching experience ranges from the boardroom
to the ranks of middle management. Elliott received
his Ph.D. in clinical psychology and a Master’s
degree from Indiana University, specializing
in psychometrics.

Carol
Limperos specializes in coaching to enhance
executive presence and in C Level Executive Development,
based on 25 years of experience in consulting,
executive search and corporate operations. Prior
to becoming a business coach, Limperos founded
and built a multi-million dollar executive search
firm which specialized in placing senior executives.
She also held vice president and C-level positions
with large established multi-billion dollar firms
and start-up organizations, including Intersolv
(now Merant), Synercom Systems (now Logica),
Execucom Systems (now Comshare) and Control Data.
She is a member of the International Coaching
Federation and is certified by the University
of Texas at Dallas Executive Coaching Program.

Suzanne
Maxwell is an executive coach and business consultant
who specializes in change management, the “people” side
of mergers and acquisitions, as well as in working
with professional service firms and entrepreneurs.
Prior to becoming a coach, Maxwell held leadership
positions with Arthur Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers,
as well as with an mergers and acquisitions firm.
Maxwell received her Graduate Certification in
Alternative Dispute Resolution from Southern
Methodist University and her Graduate Certification
in Executive and Professional Coaching from the
University of Texas at Dallas.

Martha
Newman specializes in coaching attorneys and
other business leaders in business development
and communications, through individual coaching
and workshops. In addition to her former work
as a business attorney, Newman has been a television
news anchor, a reporter and producer for WFAA-TV
in Dallas, TX and a member of the Fort Worth
Zoning Commission for seven years. She received
coach training at the University of Texas-Dallas,
her J.D. from the University of Texas School
of Law and a BS from University of Missouri in
Journalism.

Valerie
Pelan’s areas of coaching specialty are
helping marketing and technical managers improve
their self confidence to make critical decisions,
increase effectiveness and political astuteness.
She also helps project and technical teams build
team cohesiveness and improve business outcomes.
Pelan previously had successful management careers
at AT&T and EDS. Pelan is a member of the
International Coaching Federation and graduate
of University of Texas Graduate Coaching Certificate
Program. She is a executive coach in the University
of Texas at Dallas Executive MBA program and
holds an MBA in economics.
